Description:
Chicago Transit Authority 2747 arriving in Chicago on MTTX 95206 at North Avenue in Chicago, Illinois on May 15, 1983, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built by Budd in the early 1980's this was one of 600 cars in the 2601-3200 number series. It will be delivered by the C&NW to the Skokie Shops. The series was rebuilt starting in 1999 when shortcomings of the design became apparent duqing a blizzard, when snow was sucked into the ventilation and electrical systems.
